"Florida needs serious leadership, not partisan showmanship. My intent is to revive common sense, reintroduce stability and reduce costs for the middle class."

Wayne Richter is committed to restoring calm and common sense to our political system by pursuing what’s right rather than what’s routine. MY VALUES
Wayne Richter's values are rooted in faith, family, service, and a deep respect for the rule of law.
The son of a Methodist minister and a hardworking mother who spent her career with the Florida Turnpike Administration, Wayne was raised to treat others with dignity, take responsibility for his actions, and give back to his community. Those lessons have guided him throughout his life as an attorney, husband, father, and active member of the Treasure Coast community.
For more than two decades, Wayne has helped people solve problems, navigate challenges, and find common ground. His legal career has strengthened his belief that government works best when it protects individual freedoms, respects the Constitution, and serves the public good.
As a lawmaker, Wayne will bring a practical, thoughtful approach to public service. He believes leaders should listen carefully, respect differing viewpoints, and focus on solving problems rather than fueling political division. He will work with anyone, Democrat, Republican, or Independent, when it means delivering results for local families.
Wayne's priorities are straightforward: lowering the cost of housing, groceries, energy, and property insurance; strengthening public schools and workforce training; expanding access to affordable healthcare; supporting local businesses; protecting our waterways and environment; managing growth responsibly; and keeping our communities safe.
The Florida Legislature meets for only 60 days each year, but the challenges facing the Treasure Coast never stop. Wayne is ready to be a steady, effective voice in Tallahassee who will put people ahead of politics and work every day to strengthen the communities he calls home.
